News Flash from Maggie's Place

Attention all scrappers: 

Fasten your seatbelts Maggie's Place is moving....

I will be relocating to 394 New Haven Ave just a stone's throw from where I am now.

We will have more space and our own BATHROOM...Yeah and yes no stairs...

I'm very excited to make the move and I know you will all be happy with my new space.  I will be able to do more fun things and have more classes with instructors...

Move in day is December 1st and that is why I don't have my December schedule out yet.  It will be a short month anyway due to the holidays.  OMG Christmas is in 2 months.  I don't even want to talk about it. 

Ellen has made a few changes to the website.  When you look up my site it takes you to my blog and as you scroll down you will find the site with the calendar and classes and of course my new paypal. 

I will send out a mass email as we progress with the new space.  There needs to be a few changes and things have to be moved.  See you on the flip side.

Hello to all my scrappers.  We had our second tag sale and had a blast as usual.  I met a few new people and will hopefully see you at a crop or class or both.  Thanks to my sellers and buyers.  We had a beautiful day and a great tag sale.  Pictures to follow.

My first tag sale was a huge success and the girls are asking for another. As you all know, we scrappers have a "FEW" things we can tag sale. The cost is $25.00 per table. The taggers at the first made money which is a plus and did not have to take much home.

Stampscapes

We had a great time with Kirsten and card class.  The cards are beautiful and I will post as soon as I can.  Kirsten will be doing another class sometime in October date to be announced.  Happy stampin to all.....

Zentangle Class Sunday

What busy Crop on Saturday Night with old friends and wonderful new friends.  I had a full house and we had a blast.  My croppers were very busy and some got many pages done like 15, 12, and a whole album (Barbara) nice job ladies.  I was privileged to see all the wonderful scrapbooks and scrap lift some ideas for my self.  Sunday was an awesome Zentangle Class with Ellen and the ladies were a bit nervous.  With Ellen expertise, they flew through the instructions and were creating wonder tangles.  We had a blast....Check out the pics.

Looks like a good time on Saturday's crop on May 12.  Still have room. Come join the fun and laughter.  I don't know about you all but I need some fun and laughter and what better way than scrapbooking with all your friends. Catch up on the weeks events and just relax.  No kids, No husband just fun.

Friday Night Crops

As of Friday Apirl 27th I will be canceling all Friday night crops until further notice.  I need to rearrange my schedule.  However, I will be holding crops on Saturday according to the schedule on my web page maggiesplacect.com.  I will also have classes on Sunday.  Thank you all for scrapbooking with me at Maggie's Place - Where everyone knows your name...

Toilet Paper Roll Mini Album

Well here we are using our Toilet Paper Rolls to the fullest...We had a blast making this mini album.  The girls had lots of bling and stuff to put the album together.  Who knew that a toilet paper roll would made it into the "Hall of Fame" of scrapbooking...I know the girls had a blast by the mess we all made.

Wonderful crop Saturday night.  I met some wonderful new friends and we had so much fun.  The new gals are speedy scrappers.  We all enjoyed visiting many countries through their scrapbook.  We had Italy, Germany and lets not forget Disney which could be considered its own country...Looking forward to Friday night come and join in the fun and fellowship.  Pizza and soda served.  Still have room so let me know if you will be attending and fill out the registration form.

The First Crop

Maggie's Place had her first crop Saturday and what a blast we had.  All the things I fussed over and worried over melted away as I opened the door to start the day and saw my dear friend Nancy standing there with a huge smile on her face.  And of course the other half of Maggie's Place was smiling along with her.  As the gals came through the door, the feeling of love and caring from all of you was overwhelming.  Each one of you has made Maggie's Place a very special place.  It was by far one of the most exciting days of my life.  Then to top of the evening, we had a special guest actually 3 special guests...Joe my son, Jenn my daughter in law and of course my beautiful grandson.  He was a bit overwhelmed with the crowd of most beautiful women...I want to thank all of you for a most wonderful first crop with many more to follow.  I will be posting classes as I speak with my instructor for their availability.  I will be teaming up with Ms. Ellen for all my website/blog/email needs as she is the computer geek love you El...

Pictures to follow

Maggie's Place is all ready for my first crop.  I filled every seat and so thankful.  Can't wait for all the fun and laughter.  I will try and attach a cute pic of me and give you all a laugh.  Most of you will understand...  Getting make and takes ready for the open house.  Boy I'm stylin LOL

I want to thank all my scrappin friends for supporting me at my open house...It was such a great time and more good times to come.  I'm a first time blogger so bare with me.  My D-I-L Jenn set me up very well and now I have to get going.  I will try to post the schedules on my blog.  I will still be sending out on email until I connect to facebook and post schedules just to make sure I get everyone...

I'm a daughter, mother, new Nanna, and crafter embarking on a new journey. 

My love for scrapbooking and the fellowship with those having that same love has encouraged me to venture out into the business world. After many years of planning with my supportive husband Jerry, we have finally arrived at Maggie's Place. A place where we can crop, make cards, enjoy our old friendships and make new ones. The love and encouragement from my fellow scrappers is greatly appreciated and I will always be thankful for you all.
